Directly on the Danube canal at Erdberger Lände 36–38, PREMIUM developed one of its largest residential projects to date. Covering an entire city block in Vienna’s third district, THE ENSEMBLE was planned as a complete community – seven renowned architecture firms have designed ten individual buildings that blend seamlessly with an expansive and integrated surrounding park space.
Approximately 800 comfortably appointed apartments with over 55.000 m² / 592.000 sf of useable floorspace were developed. The project creates a highly desirable residential community nestled within about 7,000 m² of public park space in the heart of the city, all for the community’s use. Amounting to approximately 21,500 m², the open and landscaped park areas constitute 2/3 of the entire building plot, with the remaining land designated for construction of the contemporary and family-oriented residential complex. The demolition of the previous buildings finalized in 2016, and construction started in August 2017. After only two years of construction, the project was successfully handed-over to its owners. The project was a joint venture between ARE Austrian Real Estate Development GmbH and PREMIUM Immobilien GmbH.
