Mercer study: Vienna most livable city for the tenth time

For the tenth time this year, Vienna was chosen as the city with the highest quality of life. It has almost become a Tradition.

Every year, Vienna is voted the city with the highest quality of life by the international consulting firm Mercer. According to the Mercer study, Vienna has been the most livable city in the world for ten years. The most recent Mercer study, published in March 2019, ranked Austria's capital city first for the tenth time in a row. Behind it are Zurich in second place and Vancouver, Munich and Auckland ex aequo in third place. Apart from Vancouver and Auckland, only European cities are among the top ten in the ranking. The places six to ten were occupied by Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Copenhagen, Geneva and Basel.
